Insights GrowTastic – One Month Online

Hey,
we've been online for a month now – and so much has already happened in this short time.

Thanks to you, we've had an incredible start that has exceeded all our expectations. For that, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Every order, every feedback, every recommendation, and every encouragement means an enormous amount to us.

At the same time, in this first month, we haven't just packed and shipped orders, but have also continuously optimized our online shop and set up our headquarters so we can really get started. And that's exactly why we thought: it's time to give you a little insight into where and how we are currently working.

The plan for our own shop came about quite spontaneously last summer. Our lead time was correspondingly short – hardly longer than the time we've now been online. We are all the more grateful that a good interim solution emerged at the same time: a part of our large farmhouse was vacant, giving us the opportunity to search for a suitable retail space without much pressure.

That helped us a lot. Because as soon as it was clear that we wanted to open a business in Thun, the search automatically became a bit more restricted. At the same time, we didn't want to make any compromises – neither on size, nor location, price, or other important points. At the end of last year, we therefore decided to fully implement the online shop project first and give the suitable retail space a little more time.

Back then, an object was almost within reach – something truly beautiful with very special charm. However, there were minor limitations in size and a large investment requirement for it to truly become a store. Then the new year came, the plan was adjusted – and suddenly it was there: the perfect object.

A place where we don't have to make any compromises. A place that fulfills all our wishes. And you know what? We got a commitment.

It's simply perfect – and it will be magnificent once everything is set up. You can look forward to that. But we'll tell you more about it in a later insights post.

Now to here and today:
We are very happy to be able to start this way. With an office, packing room, and also a warehouse – which is currently spread across several rooms, but still better this way than externally. It's nice to grow in this way and to take the first steps so closely, personally, and with a lot of our own effort.

We are also incredibly grateful to everyone who has already made the journey to come up to our "mountain" – to pick up orders, conduct business discussions, or plan joint life stages. And to all the people who have been supporting us for half a year now, thinking along, contributing, and helping wherever they can: simply thank you.

Day by day, our dream is becoming more of a reality.

And we want to keep taking you along on this journey – behind the scenes, into our daily lives, into our development, and into everything that is created around GrowTastic.
