The Grodan Gro-Block Improved is a compact and precise rock wool block for hydroponic cultivation, propagation, and controlled continued cultivation of plants. Its stable structure and uniform distribution of water and nutrients create optimal conditions for a healthy and active root zone.

The Grodan Improved Technology was developed to distribute water content and EC values as evenly as possible throughout the block. This allows the root zone to be precisely controlled and optimally adapted to the respective growth phase. Especially with controlled irrigation strategies, this supports stable plant development and reproducible results.

The block is ideal for young plants, cuttings, and the early growth phase. Depending on the variant, the Gro-Block is available with a 27 mm or 40 mm planting hole, making it compatible with various starter plugs and propagation cubes.

The inert rock wool does not bind nutrients itself and does not release any substances to the plant. This means that nutrient supply remains fully controllable and precisely adjustable via the nutrient solution. At the same time, the substrate impresses with good oxygen supply, high re-saturation capacity, and a clean, disease-free structure.
