Hesi OrchiVit is a high-quality complete fertilizer and vital substance booster for orchids and other houseplants. The unique combination of nutrients from TNT Complex and vitamins and vital substances from Root Complex and SuperVit provides plants with comprehensive care and supports healthy development. Orchids, in particular, benefit from the balanced formula, as they depend on a continuous supply of organic and mineral nutrients in their natural environment. The included vitamins, amino acids, and plant sugars promote vitality, root health, and robust development. Thanks to its mild formulation, OrchiVit is powerful yet gentle on delicate plants.

Over 30,000 orchid species are known worldwide. Many of them live in nature as epiphytes on trees and derive their nutrients from rainwater, organic residues, and symbiotic microorganisms. NPK 4–2–3
NPK is the abbreviation for the three main nutrients in fertilizers:
- N = Nitrogen: Promotes leaf and shoot growth.
- P = Phosphorus: Supports root formation, flowering and fruit set.
- K = Potassium: Strengthens plants, regulates water balance and increases resistance.
The numbers after NPK (e.g. 6-4-8) indicate the percentage of the respective nutrients in the fertilizer.

How HESI came about
The story
A German woman and a Dutch man fell in love with plant care. Siglinde was a scientist, working on various projects in a laboratory. One of her side projects was the development of a high-quality fertilizer. For this passion project, only the finest ingredients were considered, and no expense or effort was spared. The same recipe, with the same quality standards, is still used today. Their friends, who were involved in cultivation, were not achieving the desired results. These cultivators were challenged and desperately needed a high-quality fertilizer. With their passion, experience, and motivation, they embarked on a journey together and founded Hesi Plantenvoeding. They said goodbye to their old lives and never looked back.
"What should we name our company?" Henk asked. After some brainstorming and discussion, they realized it was a passion for both of them, so why not combine their names? Thus, the name "HESI" was born: a combination of the first names of the two company founders.
HE stands for Henk and SI for Siglinde.

Plant and soil additives, blended, filled, and packaged in our own production facilities in Kerkrade, the Netherlands. We've been doing this with love and passion since 1996.
Thorough research into the mysteries of plant metabolism has enabled HESI to develop an optimally balanced composition for every phase of plant life. The result is a range of fertilizers for every developmental stage, but universally applicable, rather than specific fertilizers for each individual plant species. Additional vital substances such as vitamins and amino acids allow the plants to boost their energy levels. This makes growing house, garden, and patio plants a true pleasure.
