Hesi Phosphor Plus: Phosphorus and potassium become increasingly important as the flowering period progresses. The goal of flowering is reproduction; a large amount of genes (DNA) is produced and is accompanied by a high energy requirement. The phosphate is used as a building block.
Potassium is key for transporting water and nutrients from roots to leaves. It also controls CO2 absorption and has a significant impact on photosynthesis. From the middle of the flowering phase or when flowering noticeably slows down, Phosphor Plus is given in combination with Blüh Complex. Why not before? Quite simply: Before this point it is not necessary, the PK concentrations from the Blüh Complex are completely sufficient. Too high a P and K concentration would hinder the absorption of essential minerals or even lead to deficiency symptoms.

Characteristics
NPK 0-7-5
NPK is the abbreviation for the three main nutrients in fertilizers:
- N = Nitrogen: Promotes leaf and shoot growth.
- P = Phosphorus: Supports root formation, flowering and fruit set.
- K = Potassium: Strengthens plants, regulates water balance and increases resistance.
The numbers after NPK (e.g. 6-4-8) indicate the percentage of the respective nutrients in the fertilizer.

How HESI came about
The story
A German woman and a Dutch man fell in love with plant care. Siglinde was a scientist, working on various projects in a laboratory. One of her side projects was the development of a high-quality fertilizer. For this passion project, only the finest ingredients were considered, and no expense or effort was spared. The same recipe, with the same quality standards, is still used today. Their friends, who were involved in cultivation, were not achieving the desired results. These cultivators were challenged and desperately needed a high-quality fertilizer. With their passion, experience, and motivation, they embarked on a journey together and founded Hesi Plantenvoeding. They said goodbye to their old lives and never looked back.
"What should we name our company?" Henk asked. After some brainstorming and discussion, they realized it was a passion for both of them, so why not combine their names? Thus, the name "HESI" was born: a combination of the first names of the two company founders.
HE stands for Henk and SI for Siglinde.

Plant and soil additives, blended, filled, and packaged in our own production facilities in Kerkrade, the Netherlands. We've been doing this with love and passion since 1996.
Thorough research into the mysteries of plant metabolism has enabled HESI to develop an optimally balanced composition for every phase of plant life. The result is a range of fertilizers for every developmental stage, but universally applicable, rather than specific fertilizers for each individual plant species.
