Your period, more freedom of movement: The DISK is a soft, reusable menstrual disc for everyday life, sleeping, sports, and swimming. It collects menstrual blood and offers up to 12 hours of protection, depending on your flow.

Unlike tampons or menstrual cups, it sits in the vaginal fornix, behind the pubic bone. It does not require a vacuum and is barely noticeable when positioned correctly.

Your benefits in everyday life

Up to 12 hours of protection: For nighttime, sports, and swimming – depending on your flow and correct positioning.
Large capacity: 50 or 60 ml, depending on size. According to the manufacturer, this corresponds to the capacity of at least six tampons.
Reusable and economical: The manufacturer calculates costs at approx. CHF 0.05 per day and a potential saving of over CHF 300 per year compared to disposable products. Your actual savings depend on the duration of use and previous consumption.

Application:
Insertion: Wash hands thoroughly. Squeeze the rim of the disc, insert it toward the cervix, and push the front rim behind the pubic bone.

Wear & Emptying: Empty regularly depending on flow intensity and remove after a maximum of 12 hours. According to the manufacturer, the disc may partially empty itself for some users when using the toilet ("auto-dumping"). Alternatively, release the front rim with your index finger, pull the disc out slightly, and empty it.

Removal: Wash hands thoroughly, grasp the front double rim, and slowly pull the disc out. Empty it, rinse with clear water, and reinsert if necessary.

Give yourself time to practice: Insertion and removal may require some patience at first. Follow the instructions for use.

Care & Cleaning:
Rinse with clear water during your period. For thorough cleaning, the separately available DISK tabs can be used according to their instructions.

After each period, pour boiling water over the disc according to the manufacturer's instructions and let it sit for 5 minutes. Then let it dry completely and store in a dry place.

Important notes:
Use only during menstruation and do not exceed the maximum wear time of 12 hours.

In case of discomfort, unusual pain, irritation, or signs of infection, remove the disc and discontinue use. Seek gynecological advice if symptoms persist.

Replace if there is visible damage, cracks, or severe discoloration; according to the manufacturer, replace after two years at the latest. Keep out of reach of children.
