Plagron NextGen Rooting Gel
Plagron NextGen Rooting Gel is a modern, hormone-free biostimulant for promoting healthy and vigorous root development in cuttings. The contained natural rooting agent activates the plant's own processes and supports the formation of an extensive, well-developed root system.
Through its application, more and longer roots as well as numerous fine root hairs can develop. These are particularly important for water and nutrient absorption and for the plant's interaction with the substrate. As a result, cuttings can root faster, develop more vigorously, and become more resistant.
The ready-to-use gel formula adheres directly to the stem and enables rapid and effective absorption of the active ingredient. Thanks to the practical bottle with a pourer, the gel can be dispensed cleanly. It is ideal for Plagron NextGen Growplugs as well as for other common rooting substrates.

NPK
NPK is the abbreviation for the three main nutrients in fertilizers:
- N = Nitrogen: Promotes leaf and shoot growth.
- P = Phosphorus: Supports root formation, flowering and fruit set.
- K = Potassium: Strengthens plants, regulates water balance and increases resistance.
The numbers after NPK (e.g. 6-4-8) indicate the percentage of the respective nutrients in the fertilizer.
NPK = main nutrient ratio of a fertilizer .

What is the difference

between organic and mineral farming?
Organic farming
Organic cultivation is the simplest way to grow. The process relies on the life in your soil, such as fungi, yeasts, and bacteria, that break down biological material into nutrients that are then available to your plants. Because this process takes time, you'll see slower results compared to other methods. The advantage of organic cultivation is that it requires less active monitoring, as soil life also automatically regulates pH and EC levels. Furthermore, organic cultivation results in the best-smelling and best-tasting end product.
Mineral cultivation
Mineral growing relies on synthetic fertilizers that provide your plants with directly available nutrients. This means your plants receive nutrients immediately after watering, leading to faster growth and potentially a larger harvest. The biggest advantage of mineral growing is that you see faster results compared to organic methods, with higher yields as a result. However, it requires more attention to detail. You'll need to regularly measure pH and EC levels to ensure your plants are receiving the correct amount of nutrients.
