Installation:
Before installation, check the pipe diameter and the intended flow direction. Insert the backdraft shutter into the ventilation pipe in such a way that the damper blades can open and close freely.
The circumferential external seal must lie evenly against the pipe wall. The installation position should be selected according to the requirements of the respective ventilation system.

Inspection and maintenance:
Regularly check the backdraft shutter for dust, deposits, and the free movement of the damper blades. Carefully remove dirt without damaging the springs or the seal. Damaged components should be replaced before further use.
