Honestly: I had no idea of the scale our purchase of used furniture, shelving, and shop inventory would actually take. I only truly realized it when the items were already on the truck.
Fortunately, we received the incredibly generous offer to accompany the transport with a truck. A decision that proved to be spot-on – because in the end, the truck was filled to the last pallet space.
In that moment, it briefly dawned on me that we didn't actually know if it would all fit into our new premises. 😅
But sometimes, luck truly seems to be on the side of the planless. So far, everything has somehow found its place. Not always as originally intended, but often even better. Sometimes the best solutions only emerge when you are on site, try things out, and allow the spaces to contribute their own ideas.
Will our luck continue? The next construction days will tell. For now, the motto seems to be working:
Close your eyes, get to work, and trust that it will somehow fit. 🚛📦🏪
